Phytocannabinoid

CBC (Cannabichromene)

CBC, or cannabichromene, is a non-intoxicating minor cannabinoid present in most cannabis varieties at modest concentrations. It does not bind appreciably to CB1 receptors and produces no euphoria. CBC has documented anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and analgesic activity in preclinical research.

CBC is one of the four major cannabinoids by structure but rarely the dominant cannabinoid by weight. Like CBD, it does not produce intoxication. CBC interacts with TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors and modulates endocannabinoid tone through other mechanisms, with documented anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects in preclinical models.
